Hello City Centre Church!
There have been many moving parts in the past several months in regards to COVID1-19. The most important is your safety. We have been closely monitoring the directions from the Chief Medical Officer and Provincial Public Health and as per their recommendations. For a few months we had moved our services and church interactions online. However, with restrictions lifting and we have decided to move our Sunday morning service to a hybrid of in-person and online gatherings! We are excited to support and gather as a family and are learning to do so with caution and wisdom.
WHAT THIS SUNDAY WILL LOOK LIKE:
This Sunday we are back in-person! Masks will be mandatory. Social distancing will be implemented and hand sanitizer stations will be made readily available. We ask that you pre register so we will have an idea of how many people will be attending the service. We look forward to seeing you!
If you are uncomfortable or unable to attend our in-person gatherings we encourage you to continue to tune in online! Service times will remain the same, 10:30 with the option to login at 10:15 for announcements, and will be broadcasted through Facebook live. We encourage you to engage and participate with the service as much as you would on a live Sunday! We can't wait to worship with you!
Know that we are praying for you, our church family and are not scared by the events that are happening in the world around us. But rather excited for what God will do during this time.
In this season of rest we encourage you to seek God in new ways, both personally and as a group! There are many bible reading plans on The Bible app that would be amazing to go through during this season. But also why not join a virtual small group? As meeting in larger groups is not recommended and many are staying home, we are moving all of our small groups to online. In a season of social distancing we need to remember to stay connected. We need each other. We need YOU!
We are continually assessing the situation on an ongoing basis. For updates, check out citycentrechurch.com. We will also communicate updates via email and our social media channels.
Let’s work together to create a worship environment that honours the health of each other. During this time, allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in creative ways that show Christ's love, care and kindness to families that may be affected directly with this, and especially to appreciate and thank our health care workers. You are our family and we appreciate each and every one of you and want to work together for the safety needs of our congregation. We are continuously praying for the world and for each and everyone of you for peace, health, and love. Let’s pray for those affected by this illness and the caregivers who are working tirelessly to minimize the impact of the virus. Let’s also use this opportunity to demonstrate a spirit of faith and draw confidence that the Kingdom of God will prevail.
