City Centre Church was started 15 years ago on the University of Alberta campus. Our vision is to be a reproducing church. We believe that an authentic community, where people would experience a life-transforming relationship with Jesus, shouldn’t be limited to one location or structure. In our short life span we have launched three other churches. City Centre has continually focused on bringing a real faith to real life. We are dedicated to reaching out to those who are about to give up on God or who do not know God personally. Our strategy has always been simple: it’s all about forming healthy relationships. The life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday services, community experienced during the week, and a style of simplicity, have all been part of our DNA. Our church has moved a few times over the years and we now call Vanguard College home.


Position Summary:

This part-time position will work closely with the Lead Pastor and Ministry Directors. As our Church Administrator, you will play an important role by ensuring that our church communication, schedule, and processes are done with excellence. 


Position Goal:

Provide support to the Leadership Team to enable them to lead the mission, connect with leaders, and provide care for our community.

Key Skills:

  1. Excellent organizational, administrative, and management skills
  2. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  3. Strong computer skills, including word processing, and data management and proficiency with Excel and Word in a Windows environment
  4. Excellent scheduling, research, and reporting skills; able to present information with quality and accuracy
  5. Able to work independently and as part of a team

 

Education and Experience:

  1. Post-secondary diploma or certificate in a related field.
  2. Five years’ experience in an administrative role.
